Orbital's corporate journey, though not comparatively long, has utilized the experiences and knowledge of seasoned information professionals to help the company grow rapidly and successfully.

Orbital began operations in 2008 with a group of professionals who had accumulated vast experience in Information Technology (IT) and Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES). We opened with a small number of production people in an office space of 2,500 square feet located in the heart of the city of Kolkata, India. Today we have grown to a 60-person company, maintaining two shifts in a state-of-the-art facility.

Orbital's growth has been fueled by a commitment to quality and a desire to provide the highest level of service to meet the challenges of the KPO industry. As the company's capacity increases, we retain aspects of our small-company roots, including the ability to forge close working relationships with our clients, providing personalized, focused attention to their project requirements.

Orbital has completed projects for the Government, Publishing (medical books and journals, newspapers, manuscripts), Academic, and Chemical industries in prepress and other domains. While many clients have had an STM focus, Orbital has the skill set and resources to service virtually any industry or type of company, from publishing houses and information providers to financial firms and litigation companies.

One of Orbital's long-term key clients is a 100-year-old U.S. publishing firm, and we have served as an offshore partner on a variety of projects for other U.S.- based companies. This experience has helped us attain the knowledge necessary to function successfully in the U.S. market. We possess the flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, and are thus able to optimize our method of functioning according to each client's current requirements.
