Orbital Outsourcing Services participated in INDIASOFT 2009, an International IT Exhibition & Conference held on February 26-27, 2009 at Yuba Bharati Krirangan (Salt Lake Stadium), Kolkata, India. The exhibition witnessed largest presence of Indian Tier 2 and 3 IT and ITES companies with innovative IT products & services. Delegates / IT buyers across the world converged at INDIASOFT 2009. The two day exhibition witnessed Mr. Jainder Singh, Secretary, Department of IT, Ministry of Communications and IT, Govt. of India personally paying a visit to the individual stalls, where Orbital happens to be one of them and the secretary also interacted with those, who represented Orbital there. Orbital feels proud to be one among some of these best Indian IT SMEs who displayed their products and services at the show bringing a world full of innovations. The interactions and exposure with other participants proved to be quite enriching and resourceful for our organization.

Rabindranath Tagore Centre, Kolkata, is ICCR’s unique cultural centre in India. The Rabindranath Tagore Centre was inaugurated on June 1, 2008 by the Hon’ble Minister for External Affairs, Shri Pranab Mukherjee in the presence of the Chief Minister of West Bengal Shri Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and Dr. Karan Singh, President of ICCR. On completion of a year, the Kolkata flagship of ICCR, Rabindranath Tagore Centre, celebrated its first Anniversary on June 10, 2009 with significant events in the city’s cultural calendar. The Director General, ICCR Mr. Virendra Gupta welcomed guests at a reception at the Fountain Court. Amongst many other functions that were held at RTC, one of the major events comprised of the inauguration of their official website www.tagorecentreiccr.org.
